Alexander Shokhin, President of Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RUIE) issued a letter greeting the guests and participants of 10th International Transport Exhibition "TRANSTEC-2010" and the 2nd International Conference Future of Russian ports.

Earlier, PUIE had endorsed the event, which is to be held in October 2010 in St. Petersburg.

The conference will discuss current issues related to the development of infrastructure and superstructure of sea and inland ports of Russia their integration into a system of international maritime transport, the ports interaction with intermodal transport as well as other issues aimed at developing and modernizing the country's transport infrastructure, Mr. Shokhin’s letter states.
